The White Turpin House was the townhouse of Adams County's first sheriff and is located in the Natchez downtown historic district across from King's Tavern and around the corner from Antiques Row.  Recently purchased by White Turpin's gggg-granddaughter, this 200 year old National Register home is now open as Natchez' newest guesthouse.  With an air of relaxed elegance, this 3 bedroom planter-style cottage has been restored and decorated to reflect its historic past.  Guests who are interested in history can learn about White Turpin's connection to David Holmes, the first governor of Mississippi and also his family relation to Dr. John Archer, America's first medical degree recipient, and to General John Archer Lejeune, the 13th Commandant of the Marines.  Guests will enjoy all the finest luxuries in a private guesthouse that is rented to only one party, family, or group at a time. 

Whole guesthouse is to be rented to one family/party/group at a time. We have 3 bedrooms, 1 King/2 Queens.  The King bedroom has its own private bath.  The 2 Queen rooms are upstairs and share a full bath. Other guest access includes Living Room, Library, fully stocked kitchen and laundry room with washer/dryer.
